Derivatives area. You will be responsible for
production of daily P & L and risks for a range of
trading desks using Multi-Credit Derivatives,
including review of complex deals and reserves
calculations - improvement/streamline of current
processes. Implement best practices with the rest of
the team. You will have excellent organisational
prioritisation skills, be team work/control focused,
with a change/improvement mentality, interest in

Our client is looking to head the Asia Local Markets
& Repo Trading Product Control Desk in London.
This role will focus on all Asia Local Markets
businesses booked in London but traded in Asia. The
products traded include Credit Default Swaps, Interest
Rate Derivatives, Emerging Market Bonds, Non
Deliverable Forwards, Futures, Repurchase Agreements
including Cross Currency Repos, Asset Swaps, Leveraged
Loans & FX. Day to day responsibility would
include: independent revenue reporting & being the
first point of contact with regard to revenue related
questions; managing a team of 3 experienced Product
Controllers; verification of prices, rates &
parameters used to value positions to sources
independent of the trading desk; reserve calculations;
review of new products or trades in terms of
valuation, booking methodology & profit
recognition; liaison with other departments such as
Legal, Trade Support & Operations for all business
development issues; daily & monthly revenue
commentary and P&L decomposition.

The Head Cash Equities is responsible for the
functioning of the London based Product Control team.
The London team drives best practice and policy across
locations and provides ongoing support to the local
Product Control teams in New York, Amsterdam and Hong
Kong. The team currently comprises 5 staff being
predominantly qualified Accountants. This Director's
position will also be expected to co-ordinate with
staff based in New York and Asia Pacific to ensure
that best practice is adopted in Product Control
across the globe and that revenues and balance sheet
exposures are correctly accounted and adequately
marked. With the consolidation of the reporting for
these groups, as well as the requirement for Product
Control to focus on balance sheet exposures as well as
P&L, the opportunity has now arisen for a Director
to join and head the team. This is a reflection of
increased volumes, the complexity of the booking and
accounting processes and the need to ensure uniform
best practice across the group.

This high profile team is the Controlling team that
supports the Structured Credit Trading Desk. The desk
trades mainly Asset Swap packages but the total
product range is wide ranging including credit default
swaps and more exotic interest rate derivatives.
Primary responsibility is to produce risk and P&L
for the trading desk, substantiate these numbers and
explain them to both traders and controlling managers.
This involves sensitivity analysis, New Deal P&L
review and trade specific valuation/attribution
analysis. BAC is often the key contact for a variety
of departments (eg IT, Risk Management) hence there is
interaction across all areas of the bank. The BAC also
assists the Financial Controller in reconciling the
G/L at month end. Candidate Summary: Team spirit,

Duties include responsibility of the independent
revenue reporting. P&L Production for the EMG
desk. Verification of prices, rates and parameters.
Reserve Calculations Review and approval of new
products or trades in terms of valuation, methodology
and profit recognition. Daily and Monthly Revenue
Commentary and P&L decomposition. Performing the
reconciliation of daily P&L between front and back
office systems, clearance of breaks and reporting of

project, analysing & quantifying issues and
